I'm a company flatbed driver. As a standard linehaul driver I'm interested in going specialized (low boy/ heavy/ boats/ tractors/ not typical flatbed building material). What are the pros and cons? Why do drivers specialize? How does one get into that? Is there a strong market for it equal to flatbed? What are the types of specialized open trailer trucking? What are the strong and weak seasons for each?
