My job recently asked me if they pay for me to go to school would I drive a flat bed for them. My concern is safety this is a small company and they have no experience with running a tractor trailer so I wouldn’t have anyone to train me or that I could easily ask for advice. I have driven a 38 foot gooseneck for them for last 12 years so I’m not completely lost on the idea of securing some types of freight. So simply put is a month of school enough for me to safely operate a truck hauling lumber from Montana to utah twice a week or should I tell them to find someone with experience.

Thank you for your channel and content. I enjoy watching them. I was hoping I could get your advice on something. I'm a 54 year old and retiring from 30 yrs with a pension. Consider myself blessed. Want to drive truck. I live an hour away from a metro (Mpls./St Paul). How do I get from newbie point (rookie) to being able to run what I wanna run using load boards?.......
